Lalita Maa is pleased with their devotion and has given them assurance to destroy the asuras. As per Devi Purana, the Divine Mother,sits on the lion and kills the Mahisasura. She has taken Simha (Lion) Asana. Simha is a symbolic of dissolving i.e. Himsa
