Despite their fleeting existence, these flowers consider it a divine blessing to serve the Supreme during their brief lifespan. Moreover, the flowers like Champaka, Ashoka, Punnaga, and Saugandhika are believed to possess sacred syllables or bijaksharas, a knowledge passed down by one’s spiritual guide.
The five fundamental senses—sight, taste, smell, touch, and hearing—are said to be connected to the five subtle elements in Vedanta. These five senses are represented by individual arrows that are shot from a bow, which stands for the mind. When the bend of the bow is increased, the speed with which the arrows are released also increases

Earlier, all the devatas had sacrificed themselves into the Agni Kund, but the gracious Lalithambika rejuvenated them, bestowing upon them renewed vitality (as indicated by “Devakārya-samudyatā” देवकायि-समुद्यता ). To come out from sins, and burn all our past lives karmas,and to live peaceful life, this is the only one mantra “ॐ चम्पकाशोकपुन्नागसौगन्धिकलसत्कचायै नमः” is recommended. It should be chanted for one round of a mala, which is 108 times, over a period of 41 days, termed as a Mandala. Optionally, one can present jaggery either physically or symbolically.
