Mantra Sadhana & Benefits
Salutations to her who dominates over Mother Divine (Sri Mata) consort Siva in the creative part of cyclic motion of time..
The tale of Sukanya is equally renowned. She was the dedicated wife of the sage Cyavana, who, despite being elderly and less appealing in appearance, earned her unwavering devotion. On one occasion, two Ashvins, a category of gods, visited her. They transformed her husband into a figure as striking as themselves and then challenged her to identify her true husband from among the three identical men. Faced with this distressing predicament, Sukanya sought the guidance of Devi. Fortified by Devi’s blessings, she successfully discerned and selected Cyavana from the trio.
Vedic Mantra Wisdom:
Śiva, her consort, is solely devoted to Her. It was Śiva who, in his solitude, brought forth Śaktī to oversee His three acts. Śaktī, representing kinetic energy, stands in contrast to the static energy embodied by Śiva. Being Śiva’s creation, it is asserted that Śiva is exclusively hers. Śiva is the originator of the universe, and Śaktī is his force. The existence of the universe hinges on the symbiosis of these two powers.
