Vak Siddhi Mantra Sadhana & Benefits
The symbolism of (Sri Mata) as a term ‘Saubhāgya’ signifies that Srividya is regarded as the knowledge of good fortune or prosperity. The sacred Gurupaduka Mantra ‘Bījas’ also originate from this concept. In the Sri Vidya tradition, this sacred mantra is exclusively imparted by a guru to his disciple during the Paduka Diksha ceremony. This transmission of knowledge is a deeply personal exchange between the Guru and the Sishya (disciple). In this context, the Guru is equated with Shiva
Vedic Mantra Wisdom:
“Shivāya Gurave Namah” signifies reverence to the Guru, who is not merely a person but is considered an embodiment of Shiva Himself. The wisdom imparted through this embodiment of Shiva is revered as ‘Guru’. This concept is akin to the reverence shown to Ganga Jal (holy water from the Ganges) in a copper pot. When we worship Ganga Jal with offerings of flowers and Kumkum, the question arises: are we venerating the pot or the sacred water within? It is the presence of Gangajal in the pot that renders the pot worthy of worship. Similarly, since Shiva dwells within our Guru, we pay homage to our Guru. In doing so, we offer our respects to Shiva. The phrase “Kamesa gnata saubhagya mardvoru dvayanvita” implies that only the Guru (Kāmeśvara) possesses the knowledge of Saubhāgya, the profound wisdom of Srividya
