One commentary divides the term “graiveyachintalolamukta” into three parts: “graveiyachinta,” “lola,” and “mukta.” “Graveiyachinta” refers to those who worship the Devi but are unable to firmly establish her in their hearts, placing them at a medium spiritual level. “Lolachintaks” are individuals who engage in worship driven by desires for worldly objects, categorizing them at a lower spiritual level. Lastly, “Muktachintaks” are those who worship without any desires, representing the highest level of spiritual attainment.
Irrespective of the devotee dedication and concentration while worshipping her, she grants rewards for them based on their level of devotion.
Vedic Mantra Wisdom:
She is adorned with a golden pendant, intricately embedded with gems, and a necklace of pearls. These ornaments gracefully dangle around her neck. In the practices of meditation and Japa, a mantra, which takes the form of sound, is essential. This sound emanates from the throat, or neck. In this context, mantras are likened to gemstones. Sadhakas perform Japa using the mantra (Ratna) produced from their throat (neck). During this process, it’s crucial for their mind (dhyana) to remain steadfast and unwavering (lola). Many people find themselves restless during Japa, eagerly anticipating the completion of their mala round. However, while worshipping Her, one must focus the mind and steer clear of distractions.
